Steven founded Anomie Train in 1999. The idea of Anomie Train is Normlessness on the Move. It's also an anagram of a person's name. If you're that person and you email Steven about it, he'll send you a free CD and a box of chocolates.
Steven moved to Losertown after he graduated college in 1987. He writes most of the songs. Steven believes the best songs are based on stupid incidents because they elicit strong memories. Steven has been a dishwasher for fifteen years. He hopes to sell enough CDs so he can quit his job.

Steve is a life long resident of Losertown. He has a permanent case of anxiety. His favorite guitar of the moment is a Jay Turser JT-34. His favorite guitarist is Bob Stinson. Steve cleans offices at nights. He hopes to sell enough CDs so he can quit his job.

Jiang Qi Hui is a native of Beijing and works at the Wangfujing Bookstore "where all the pretty girls hang out." He's been in and out of bands since high school and has played an insignificant role in the Beijing underground punk scene. He is very happy to be an honorary resident of Losertown. If you see him at the store, say hello to him!

The man known simply as s.mon pretends to play the drums as he listens to the computer play his sequenced drum loops. He likes of affect different accents--his current choice is a southern drawl. He, too, is a life long resident of Losertown, and has a permanent dopey, happy outlook on life. He has no place to live--he crashes at the others' houses each night. He hopes to sell enough CDs so he never has to look for a job.
